Deputy Mayor Shigemasa Katayama of Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, visited the Consulate General to present "mokuroku" (letters of condolence) to Consul General Daniel Russel and to receive an Ambassadorial Letter of Appreciation for Matsue City's contribution to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
